Career Exploration Pilot Program

We build our programs based on the dialogue with all stakeholders including teachers, students, administrators, and policy- makers. The best way to achieve the desired outcomes with our programming is to learn about the needs, priorities and circumstances before the design and implementation phases. With this information and feedback, we aim to provide useful, meaningful and purposeful career exploration guidance and opportunities that can be used as credits for future career education in high school.

Summary

The Career Exploration Pilot Program is a six-month project with guest speakers from diverse backgrounds and fields.

Activities

30-minute talk to middle school students. There will be a different guest speaker every month.

Guest speakers will hold a meet-and-greet with interested students.

Guest speakers will host an in-person hands-on activity with students.

Who are our guest speakers?

Our guest speakers are experienced professionals with a rich and diverse background. They are willing to share their life experiences and provide guidance in a variety of potential career pathways.

Evaluation

A focus group will be conducted at the end of this pilot program. The objective of the focus group is to assess the needs and improvement opportunities for this career exploration program.
